We carefully inspect and photograph every card before listing it. Card condition is assessed as accurately as possible, but minor differences in opinion can occur.
Please review all available photographs before purchasing. Images form an important part of the item description.
Near Mint
A Near Mint card may have very minor imperfections visible under close inspection, such as:
• Very light edge or corner wear
• Tiny printing imperfections
• Minor surface marks
• Slight centring differences
Near Mint does not mean flawless or guaranteed to receive a particular professional grading score.
Excellent / Lightly Played
These cards may show small signs of handling or use, including:
• Light whitening around the edges
• Minor scratches or surface marks
• Small corner imperfections
• Slight wear visible from certain angles
The card will remain clean, presentable and suitable for most collections.
Played
A Played card has more noticeable signs of use, which may include:
• Visible whitening or edge wear
• Surface scratches
• Corner wear
• Small dents or minor creasing
• General handling marks
Any significant imperfections will be described and photographed.
Damaged
A Damaged card has substantial wear or damage, which could include:
• Heavy creasing
• Tears or peeling
• Water damage
• Deep scratches or dents
• Significant edge or corner damage
Damaged cards will always be clearly identified in the product title or description.
Graded cards
Professionally graded cards are sold according to the grade displayed on their sealed grading case. Any visible damage to the slab itself will be described and photographed separately.
Important information
Raw cards are not guaranteed to achieve any particular grade if submitted to a grading company. Grading standards vary between companies, and a card described as Near Mint is not necessarily equivalent to a grade of 9 or 10.
